With the Launch of GuardianAI™ ORION, our latest generation autonomy control suite, Videosoft’s technology is now fully integrated into GuardianAI™ Inspect; our comprehensive C2 suite. This enhances how we manage video streaming across autonomous and remote operations, while also improving deployment flexibility across different platforms.
Supporting Advanced Inspection and CV Workflows
The system plays a key role in supporting Computer Vision (CV) detection workflows. Video streams are processed both onboard the vessel and within the Remote Operations Centre (ROC), as well as in post-processing. This allows more advanced inspection capabilities while maintaining low data transmission requirements.
Demonstrated at Oceanology International
Our collaboration was showcased at Oceanology International, where we demonstrated highly efficient video transmission by streaming from the Oceanus 12 in Plymouth Sound alongside a live drone feed.
The team used GuardianAI™ Inspect to view camera feeds within the user interface through the integration of Videosoft into the GuardianAI™ stack.
As a result, we’ve been able to significantly compress video delivery, improve stream stability, and deliver a more consistent connection with the vessel across multiple communication channels – including satellite.
